Privacy Policy

This policy describes how HarmanPlus Technologies Ltd (“we”) handles personal data for HarmanCell, a virtual second-number and messaging product. Calling features are not currently enabled for customers and may be made available gradually for supported numbers and countries. Browse current number offers in your account. This is not a claim of GDPR certification or of a telecom-operator licence.

Who we are

HarmanCell is a product of HARMANPLUS TECHNOLOGIES LTD, company no. 17352310. Contact: developer@harmanplus.com.

Data we process

  • Account data: name, email, password digest, account type, and account status
  • Policy acceptance: which Terms and Privacy versions you accepted, and when
  • Waitlist data: email, optional first name, interest and country
  • Device and session metadata: signed-in devices, coarse client address, user agent
  • Assigned-number metadata: E.164 values, country, status, labels and capability flags for numbers on your account
  • Message metadata and content when you use messaging on an assigned number
  • Prepaid-balance and payment records when you add HarmanCell Balance
  • Security and operational audit events needed to run and protect the service

Why

To create and secure an account, operate assigned numbers and messaging where enabled, keep prepaid balance records, meet telecommunications and anti-abuse duties, and communicate about the service. We do not sell personal data.

Processors and providers

Hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and telecommunications carriers process data as our processors or independent controllers where the law treats them that way. Carrier credentials are not given to customers. This policy does not name a production carrier.

Security and retention

We apply access control, encryption in transit, and least-privilege operations. We keep data only as long as the account, an existing product or legal duty, or a dispute requires. Closed accounts are anonymized. Message content and uniquely attributed messaging-webhook bodies are removed. Some billing records, append-only security events, webhook envelopes used for deduplication, and telecom inventory metadata may remain without unnecessary customer-identifying fields. Provider events that cannot be uniquely linked to the deleted account are not guessed or rewritten. We do not invent a retention period here; see the account-deletion page and product policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. You can delete your account from the HarmanCell app or the signed-in web account. You can also request deletion from the public account-deletion page without a phone call. Write to developer@harmanplus.com to start a request. We will not invent a DPO appointment we have not made.

SMS program

If you opt in to a HarmanCell SMS program, we use the relevant number and messaging data to provide conversational messaging on your HarmanCell number. United States SMS is not generally available. We do not sell SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers to third parties for those third parties' own marketing or promotional purposes. Telecommunications carriers, messaging providers, infrastructure providers, and service providers may process the information where necessary to provide, secure, or operate the messaging service. You may opt out of an SMS program by replying STOP where supported.

International transfers

If we transfer data outside your country we use a lawful mechanism then in force. Infrastructure may be hosted outside the United Kingdom.
